Default What size tires should people get when...

upgrading their wheels to 17 or 18" rims? Stock S2000's have larger rear tires...that being the case...what would be good size tires for 17 or 18" rims?

(I don't want to use the search)

255 in the rear seems to be the norm on 17, 18.. i seen them as wide as 275, but i thought that was just insane.. my current setup is 17x8 (35 offset) 225/45/17 front, 17x9 (50 offset) 255/40/17 rear..

245 and 255 seem to be the norm.
I am running 245 rears and am lowered 2.5 inches+. You cant go too wide and be very low. Fender problems do come up.
What size and offsets are you going with?

Here you go...

it really depends on what rim manufacturer you are using.......

not just a 48 in front and a 50 in rear..... and it will work

If the offset of the wheel is not correct for the car, the handling can be adversely affected. When the width of the wheel changes, the offset also changes numerically. If the offset were to stay the same while you added width, the additional width would be split evenly between the inside and outside. For most cars, this won't work correctly.
