well, just see for yourself below, but i was wondering what i could do, since this is site helps out more than going to a body shop and having them tell you. "HEY THATS 800 DOLLARS TO FIX", is kinda rediculous so i was thinking is there a easier way? please help.

I need help. Thanks again

wow some nice oxidation u got there... u cant just clear coat it ... got to sand it down repaint that ... i dont know if that is salvageable ... but u do it ur self ur gonna hav to sand down then primer which is 90% of the work... then paint then clear coat... which will cost u a total of around 50 bux to 100 bux ... and a lot of time... just depends on ur patience level if u take ur time and work ur *** of on it it will be good ... also there r a few products ... i hav tired a few ... the r mostly worth less... the clay bar is **** ... i heard turtle wax thing is crap also... then a few even make it worse... might wanna try some hard buffin and waxin to make it bit better...
some1 fixed theres before on this site i will try to find the link he listed the stuff he used... but it was no where in the level of oxidation urs has so who knows or it didnt appear to be
and u might be better off buyin a CF hood if ur thinkin of gettin that 800 job... CF hoods $150-250 ... or even new oem parts in good condition same color of course

Yeah boys, the down here the Texas sun is harsh, and will **** you up!! Thats why I NXT'ed my baby as soon as I got her becuase my car is out in the sun ALL of the time.
At home and in the school parking lot. So its really important to protect it from sun and uv damage. That **** is toast. I dont know how that happened becuase you dont wake up one morning and have your car look like that.

no amount of detailing products would fix that. Sanding and refinishing is the only remedy to that kind of paint damage.
I hope you didn't mean that the clay bar is not worth anything at all, clar bars are freakin awesome when it comes to cleaning surface contaminants off of otherwise good paint, and preparing it for polish and wax.

I was going to get a CF hood on my car when this happened.
My black 94ls had the same problem. I admit the last few years I had it I didn't take care of the body so much. I had so many door dings, door was dented from a dumbass driver who also almost took my leg off too, keyed all the way down the passenger side, etc... I just didn't care anymore. I also didn't have a garage, so that car was outdoors 24/7.
I've really only seen this on grenada black pearl ones though.

I'd check out the junkyard first. If you can't find anything, fork out the cash to get the entire car resprayed. Even if it's a $300 Maaco job, anything will look better than that.
