Default jdm b16 cable tranny

where do i check the tranny oil on the jdm b16 cable tranny....also looking for a ls or gsr cable tranny

It's a cable driven tranny... so there's no transmission fluid.

You mean there is no clutch fluid.

on a cable tranny there is a fill hole and a drain hole. You cant really check the level too easy, just replace.

It is a 17mm sized bolt above the fill hole to the left.

pull the level bolt... stick your finger in there... if there is fluid that gets on your finger easily... you're good...

the easist way to fill it is just drain it... and then fill it up until it is dripping out... let the drips slow to the point where its a drip every 5 seconds or so... replace the washer... and throw the bolt back in... you're good to go.
