Default Type S Pistons

Will my car pass smog with Type S pistons? Planning on buying some and don't know if I should.

The only thing I can think of is, higher compression requires some tuning to avoid detonation, that could indirectly affect emissions. But Type S pistions are only 11:1 that needs no tuning at all on pump gas. If anything, higher compression should give you a more complete combustion, but I don't see that in itself affecting emissions much. You're good to go.

Yes you will pass. It should not affect emissions too much.
