smog ref???

Default smog ref???

sorry but i tried searching ............ after reading post about smog ref i want to get my car smog ref....my car is basically stock..... stock b16 with a ice man CAI and greddy sp exhaust.....lowered..... can i still get that smogged and the refereeeplaces to get that BAR thingy... i think it will benefit on the long run......when i have the money to do my mods.............99 civic si

you only need to go to the ref if you have had an engine swap or have gotten a ticket for a smog-related equipment violation (ie illegal intake, header etc)

If you have a 99Si, you don't need to go to the ref. If your motor came with that motor from the factory, it doesn't need to be registered.

currently in the process of building a LSvtec......just need couple of more parts....but since my car is still stocck i want to get the BAR thngy....before anything

The bar certification? They give that to you when you do a motor swap, and need to register the new motor, to make it a legal swap. Yours comes with the car.
