poor little guy never saw it coming.

Just got the call from the insurance company.
Hope I can at least get the wheels and suspension or at least a little money for them. Haven't even had them on a month. Barely getting started...
Oh well, now I take my check and go car shopping. I can think of worse places to be.

Just from that rear end damage and the front driverside fender/headlight area, your insurance company totalled the car out just for that? I've seen worse with people getting slammed into the back of the car, on 96-00 Civic sedans also, and the insurance company paid to have it repaired than totalled out. Guess it all depends on where you live, your insurance company, and what they deam the 'fair market value' of your car compared to the cost of repairs.

frame is tweaked, passenger side doors don't open. So I'm assuming that's why they totalled it. Honestly, once I realized that the frame was bent, I was hoping they'd total it. I'm just hoping I can get some parts back.
I thought about crying, but I just went home and got real drunk instead

Phil you have the shitiest luck with honda's. damn, right on blvd too, i hope it wasnt rush hour. people would have gotten pissed real quick when they couldnt get on the highway haha
damn that sucks, similar thing happened to me, but my car was totaled and i was able to buy it back from the insurance company for $943 that got me a 2000 b16a, full coilovers, rear discs, transmission, wiring, dash, headlights, carbon fiber hood, all the wiring and interior panels... oh yeah, plus i paid my other car off, bought a new civic, paid for tax, tag, and title, and still had enough money left over to buy a new set of tires.

failure to yield. I was driving tired.
lemme trade u my VX for ur HX
