Do you have verification that the track will be open?

fyi.

some of my good friends, who are PCA instructors, were just invited down to shenandoha and drove the track yesterday (with their track cars! not tow vehicles!). they drove many different variations, in both directions. i got a call this morning with the full rundown. sounds like a neat course, with lots of flexibility. all involved seemed to like it....

so in answer to the question; its open and driveable (for certain factions, at this time, at least!).

Wish I could Jack. My one weekend to work in November is that weekend. Couldn't rotate with anyone.

Looking forward to attending all next season.

If anyone has the free time, do it.

funny you should mention that......

the head instructor, brian smith, runs a totally set up and super fast slopenose turbo car. fairly low rideheight, low front splitter, wide wide hoosiers on 18s. i heard that he was scrapping his splitter all the way around (while on the line).

i was also told that one could run along the top on the flat section if one desired (at a slower pace than on the line on the banking).....
