Default 1994 Accord EX - Driver's Window (Will Roll-down / Won't Roll-up)

Just wondering if anyone has any advice for my Accord. I rolled the window down today while driving, but then when i got home, it wouldn't roll up. Rolling down still works, but it won't roll up. All the fuses work fine, so I'm gonna open the door up to see what's going on. Thanks for any advice!

Al

Probably a bad switch.

Have had to replace two power window motors on my '94 EX. It's not particularly hard, but having an extra person to hold the glass in place while the other puts in the bolts is extremely handy.

ha both of mine do that (i have higher prioritys then my windows at the moment though) what ive found that works is hold the up switch and beat on the interior piece closes to the left side of the door above the lock panel and what no (that vinil part) that should work, or hold up on the window while you slam the door! both work, cant be good for the door though im just a broke college student though so i dont really have to many options (and thats valuble h22 money)

I know this is a old page but this just happened to me this week. The window rolls down jest fine but would not go back up. Went to the local dealership spoke to a tech he said he is 99% sure it is the master switch. Then he told me how much. $160.00!! One hundred sixty dollars for a window switch made in Mexico? Went to four junkyards no one has one and it is going to rain tommorrow. So went back to the dealer. That did fix it. Still slow going up so i may have to lube the tracks as well. So if the window will not go up and when you hit the switch and DON'T hear the motor trying to move the window it is most likely the master switch. The dealer said he was surprised the original lasted as long as it did.He said they burn out all the time.
