Default Rota Slipstream - 1, Pothole - 0

Hit the biggest pothole last night in about 12 years of driving (believe me I have hit a bunch). My tire went flat after about a minute, but the Rota Slipstream is fine with no damage whatsoever.

Just wanted to put this out there for people who question the Slipstreams durability. This is my 3rd month on the street with them in a very shitty Memphis area road wise and no durability problems at all.

i hit a cat and it broke the middle bar on my 97 GS-R! but i was going like 40mph after racing some guy in a pontiac and cops sitting on the side of the road. dipped into a residential area and lost them and high tailed it home!

I hit a rock with my ADR Sokuda about a month after I got them. It completley punctured the tire and put 3 BIG cracks in the wheel, and made it kinda an olval shape on the inside. That damn rock cost me $340.00!!!!!! I still have the rock and the wheel in my garage

thats ADR for ya. i didnt hit anything when the wheel broke. hit that curb in the picture which stopped me afterwards though. ADR wheels are so fragile. mine was defective yet they wouldnt admit it and i ended up paying over $1100 in parts and my bumper still isnt fixed!

Are the sub zero's as strong as the slipstreams? If I can ever sell these wheels, I will purchase some 16" subzeros. Don't know what color yet though. WHat do you guys think would look best on a Black Teg?

ADR: 3, ADR's Customers: 0

Add my name to ADR's list of victums. I have (had) Spyders on my 99 Civic EX and noticed a crack that the base of a spoke (very similar to FuknGSR's if you can image just one spoke broken).

It never seperated from the rim because I took the wheel off before it had a chance to send me into a ditch.

Where the spokes attach to the rim must be a very weak spot in their construciton. I didn't hit a pot hole or anything, mine crached as a result of normal wear and tear on worse than average roads.

Not good, I won't be buying ADR anymore.

its an ADR Spider. it bent the lower a-arm and i had to get it replaced. the total bill came to like $1100 after i bought another wheel and replaced the rotor and brake pads.

mine just ended up cracked like the other guys did. except i was taking a corner and all hell broke loose. luckily i was able to steer it somewhat away from the 3 foot high concrete barrier that lined the street!

i ended up shipping the wheel back to ADR and they didnt take responsibility for it.
