I know a couple of years ago someone had pics of a CRX turned convertible, the work was not done very well, you might be able to find it by doing a search on H-T or on google....

Roof chops are bad. They can be made to look okay, but rarely look right. Also, done correctly, they add weight from all the braces required to make up for the support of the roof being removed. There is actually a lot of stress on the roof.... Although few are done correctly. In a few years, most roof chops end up sagging. Then you have problems with door fitment, etc. Not to mention it's not safe.

If you decide to do a civic convertible, or targa, make sure you add a FULL rollcage.

also, you will encounter lots of chassis flex, so drive it slowly if you do it...you could also build a complex cage using triangles to fix this, but it'll add alot of weight

seeing as it was rolled, make sure the rest of the body isn't bent/warped, and replace the seat belts that were used in the rollover(oem seat belts have a small area that stretches, but it's not elastic).

anyway, good luck

I had to change it around a bit to fit the situation, but it still works. Yes, my PS skills are nonexistant.

i had a picture of one but dont have it aymore. It didnt look that bad though. Lots of customization is required though. This one didnt have a top for it so it was canvertible 24/7. Idk how you could make a top for it.
