does any one know if its a good idea to swap a h22a engine in a honda accord 99 coupe stick shift. if its not a good idea could u tell me what is.

there nuttin wrong putting a h22 in a 6th gen accord... im happy with my h22 swap

 

i think i would look into going turbo instead. cheaper and more power.

 

Go ahead and swap the H22 and THEN turbo it That's what its all about

 

for the sixth gen i'd turbo the f23, the h22 into the newer cars is still too "custom" to come cheaply.

 

Yeah...it is true. I got my whole front clip for 1500 though. Its an automatic, which doesnt bother me much because, yes Ill admit it, I cant drive a stick all too well yet and its my daily driver. It is a CUSTOM application, but in my mind, thats what tuning is all about. I dont want to be one of the people that someone talks to about cars and says "oh yeah my friends got that too." Its all about being original. (H22a swap isnt THAT original...but not done too often in a 6th gen.)
