Video of my Colt running 9.68 at 143 this last weekend
Hey everyone,
Its been a while since I posted on here but I had finally got to run some passes on my car without the throttle body breaking every other pass.
Here goes:

We had to run a couple of 1/8th mile passes due to the fog early in the morning, but got to run some 1/4 miles later, the CRX I raced was pretty damn fast too....
Thanks again guys,
Tom Hartshorn

dont lie tom that thing never saw 11s, haha, jk. great job, where were u for battle??? i was surprised to see u were not in attendance.
Great Job Tom! Could you imagine the times you'd be running with the built motor and more squeeze? Bring on the Ground Zero Supra or the Horsepowerfreaks Supra. Wait, your car is just too light and it's not a dyno queen!

wow, nice vids! Any more pics, specs? I have an 89 colt GT also that is still in the works, trying to build 2.0 engine for it and more boost.
Great work Tom!
Once again, you are officially the quickest F4/W4A33 mitsubishi transmission'd car. Russ is 0.02sec behind you and I'm a bit farther, but I won't see any new times until next year.
What were your 60' times on the 9.68 and 9.77 runs?
Kevin

What the hell is that? Whats the difference between the trans he uses and normal AWD DSM Trans?

Ok,
Thanks Kevin, I see you switched back to an auto, I saw we bunched back up on the times again. Pretty Sweet!!
My 60ft time was 1.533 and 1.553 and the 1/8th mile was 6.294 at 115.84 and 6.326 at 114.37.
The motor is still 90 rods 95 pistons and a composite headgasket.
Its like 5 yrs old now almost 6, never been apart at the short block since it was freshed up.
I have cams, oversized valves(1mm) and I ported the head myself. I built a sheetmetal intake and use the HKS cast T4 manifold with a SC61/T4 P trim turbo. Tial 40 mm wastegate and Tial 50mm BOV. I'm also running a spearco water to air intercooler.
It has a 50 hp wet nitrous and I'm still running C-16 for gas.
The difference in the transmission is thats its a Automatic, but not an aftermarket like the powerglide that all the RWD cars are running.
