No. But then again it isn't that far from a good deal in my opinion.

What if I am going to do a custom head for it... cause I will replace all the stock components for the head with aftermarket anyway?

Would it then be worth it?

I would have to see the shortblock but I would offer them like no more than $200.00. This is in my own opinion and the condition, mileage, and other factors determine its value. It is a good shortblock so if you really need it and end up paying $250.00, it will be worth it in the end.

Why? If he is going for a custom head why spend extra on items he wouldn't need?

well is it legit?
is it in good shape?
did the prevvious owner beat the crap out of it?

I mean 250 is not a horrible price yes you can get the motors for 600 plus shipping if your not close to one then again you can get this for 250 and a bare head for 300 its really your call but if the thing was abused and your gonna re-ring and bearing it then no dont get it otherwise go for it

IMO, the "almighty" B16 is worth a little of this and none of this $

Yeah well... after running my d16z6 for about three months and then riding along in a friends crx with a b16... well as far as I am concerned on the z6

Should've just went with the b16 to begin with. I think I am going to pick it up and just put it up for a while and start working on a very boosted b16 project
