code for a 1999 EX radio
I just sold the aftermarket radio I'd had in my car for a while and reinstalled my original OEM radio, but I seem to have lost the card that listed the anti-theft code.
A friend recommended that someone on this site may have access to look up the code numbers (so I wouldn't have to pay $100 at a dealership).
If anyone has access to this information, or if you could point me in a direction to find this info, I'd be very grateful.
On the sticker on the bottom of the radio, I found this:
Serial #: M98K201019
Ref #: CQ-JH1810Z
Model #: 39100-584-A210
Could anyone help a poor sap out?
Thanks, I appreciate it.

I used to work at a Honda dealership. When a vehicle is new it goes through a process at the dealership called a PDI, or Pre-Delivery Inspection. During this inspection the radio code is put in for the first time and the stickers are placed on the radio code card and sometimes will be placed in the glovebox or even places such as the trunk. The placement can vary from different dealerships. I recommend you check the glove box for the radio code sticker first.
If you have no luck, bring just your radio in to the dealership so you save the cost of dealership removal and installation. Good Luck.

I think that Honda radios have something like a VIN number which you can give to the dealer and they can give you the code.
When I bought my 98 Accord used I didn't get the code so I asked the dealer what if I have to swap out my battery and lose the radio... the guy told me to just take out the radio, look up the "VIN" and they can give me the code.
Hope that helps...
(i never did look up my radio, I traded the car in for 03 V6-6mt heh)
