i have jdm headlights for my 92, and for bulbs i'm not sure what style your looking for but nokya makes cheap ones that look descent, as for getting the bulbs out mine might be a bit different but if there is the metal wire that is screwed across the back of the bulb then just loosen one of the screws til the wire will pop out and then it should be easy out after that
and a question for you, do your bulbs hi/low, use the same style plug or are they completely different

yeah they are diff..h4 and h1 for hi beam...and yes they do have the wire accross the back that can screw off..that should work...
the jdm bulb that came with it sucks..very poor lighting.

i just thought i would check, all the pictures that i've found for the 90-93 jdm lights shows the plugs looking the same, except the number of wires going into the plug, but my h1s are on some kind of base that they are plugged into
i would recommend PIAA if you have the cash. as for removing the h4 bulbs, you don't have to unscrew anything. all you need to do is UNHOOK the metal wire that is holding the bulb in. you simply push down, in the direction of the front of the headlight, on one end of the wire, and then push downward toward the street (or up to the sky depending on the location), and then the wire should unhook and swing outward releasing the bulb. simple as that! it should be similiar for the h1 bulb as well.
h1 and h4 essentially uses the same plug BASE, but the h1 plug has 2 wires coming out of it while the h4 plug has 3 wires coming out of it, just like yeamans17 stated above.
