Hey all!!! I'm new to the forum...had some questions regarding the rear control arm of my Accord...the ball joint just came off and I can't figure out how to get that thing off to replace it, any ideas would really be helpful. Also, where is a good deal on-line to get a replacement control arm with busing/ball joint? Thanks!!!

The balljoint broke off mine too ( 89 exi coupe) and i had to change the part as unit. You can't get the ball out ,you have to chage the arm complete with balljoint.
As far as where to go , i can't help much cause i'm from canada but do some calls and find a good price . If you are talking about getting the broken ball out of the wheel hub assembly then i suggest a puller or a good BFH and arm juice.

 

Yeah...I'm trying to do that now...it's a bitch!!! Gotta find an easier way. So you said that I need to buy the whole unit...you mean the control arm and ball/joint correct?

 

Yes, control arm/balljoint as a unit . They don't separate.
