airbag in non airbag car

airbag in non airbag car

i want to purchase a '90 Accord, however, it doesnt have an airbag. Is it possible to install an airbag in this car? From a '92, the first accords with airbags?

the car has been beautifully maintained and is free to me, and i cant drive it unless it has an airbag.

does that make it more practical?

Ok I suppose anything is possible if you have enough $$$$. I don't have any idea about what you would have to do though and how much it would cost. Why can't you drive it without an air bag?

well i guess i have an overprotective mother, because i dont care if i have an airbag or not

to add an airbag system would be costly, and heck, it might not even be legal due to possibilities of incorrectly installed systems going off at the wrong times..
