ITB set up...Homemade...Throttle body set ups??
I've been searching around but can't find a definate answer to what I'm looking for. Noticed alot of people using larger engine throttle body set ups such as GSX-R 1000, Honda 929's and some with Hayabusa. I've been looking at some cheeper aprox 600cc ITB set ups: Kawasaki ZX6r's (which are 636's) or 600RR's, Honda 600 F4i, Honda 600RR's etc....are these too small of a throttle body diameter or will these all work for a homemade ITB set up??
The set up this would be for is a 84.5 mm B18A block with CP 12.5/1 c/r with a B16A head....not sure on the cams yet...either M22 or maybe M24's.

do you actually have the setup or are you planning on running that setup? for that setup i would definiltey get hte biggest itbs. hayabusa 45mm are the best bet. you will need to flow a lot of air into the head to take advantage of the cams. if you are just going to throw them on a stock b16, then the 38mm 600rr or 40mm 929 should be fine. the 929 on mine equate to an 84-86mm single throttle body.
