Default i dont feel like running with the big dogs.

Alright ive looked into it and have tooken everyones consideration. after browsing the forums for awhile i have learned these things:
1. a B16a swap into a crx dx is hard and costly, but most definantly worth it.
2. a crx is a work of art that has an indefinant ammount of possibilitys.

Anyways, i got my body kit, i got the wings west and the car is remaining the stock white. im having the body kit painted the same white.
I got some wheels from a del sol, 14-15inch i think, i like them alot. Silver.

Now, i can work on one of these things and i need your guys advice.

I drive a 1990 crx DX (i thought it was an HF but did a carfax and discovered it was a DX and looked at the engine and on the block it says 16 valve, whereas the HF has only 8 valves, i goofed.)

I can do an engine swap, and i am going to swap a D15B into this car, not a B16A.
I made this decision because it is cheaper, and the d15b is still a very fun engine from what i hear.

or

i can get new suspension, likesay, new springs, new shocks, maybe even some sport brakes.

Id much rather do the suspension first because the roads here SUCK. But a faster engine is always more fun.

But what do you guys think?

well sadly that engine wont give you much ...so i would definatly do suspension first and then go with a B series swap when u have the money for it

if your talking about the jdm d15b vtec, that motor is pimp. I got one from 91 and turboed it, it moves my fat del sol very well.

alright then, suspension it is. Thanks guys, now for the larger debate.

Whats good? My brothers told me Koni Yellow are the ****. But they are also freaking exspensive.

So im lookin at Koni Reds and i like the prices alot better. I was thinkin about going with the H&R OE springs cause around here, your car CANNOT be low. The roads just suck too bad. Your body kit will get busted off left and right.

But anyways:

Koni Reds -
Front part # 8040-1077 - $91 x 2 = $182
Rear part # 8040-1158 - $91 x 2 = $182

H&R OE Springs - $270

Total suspension cost = $634

Now, if anyone thinks they can get me better prices, please help!

Also, what sport brakes work good, cause i hear the back wheels have drum brakes and the front are disc.

thanks guys!

You could do a mini-me. It's not that hard and would add about 30Hp.

Tokico Illumina's on GC Coilovers? (suggest you specify a springrate to your liking for the springs)

Build a homemade turbo kit for your engine. You could pull it off for 600 easy.
