Default Fenders, 88-89 vs. 90-91

Now I know these are different. But everywhere seems to show the same part number for all of 88-91. http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com, http://www.slhondaparts.com, http://www.car-part.com, and http://www.autopartsland.com all do. What's the deal?

I thought they were the same, just the corner lights are different.

Yep, all the fenders are the same for the CRX however the headlights and corner lights are different from 88-89 and 90-91. Hope this helps.

Hmmm. I bought a fender and the corner light wouldn't fit? So I hacked it a little bit and it fit sort of. Then I smacked it this weekend and want to replace it with the right thing.

Wouldn't fit how? Perhaps it was an aftermarket fender, some have horrible fitment. Unless it wouldn't fit because it was molded different, then my theory is shot down.

i think they are the same, except on the 88-89 the corner lenses have the clip on the fender for the screws to mount the lights. but on 90-91, the plastic clip just holds a tab thats on the corner lense in place, instead of screws.

The corner light didn't fit. The space for the corner light was more square, I ended up dremeling a bunch off of the light to make it fit.

I am pretty sure that on the 88-89 fenders dont have a screw hole for the 90-91 corner light. Im talking about the screw that holds the corner light to the headlight support. but other than that it is just a matter of changing the clips from screws to slides ....

88-89 have thicker side moldings and the coner lamp screw into the fender. 90-91 have thiner side moldings and the corner lamp screws into the head light. 88-91 fenders all have the screw holes for the corner lamps.
