Default Need input, buying tomorrow

I just found a virgin GSR block, and its just down the street, go figure.

What should I look for
1.I know to check the sleeves for cracks and scratches
2.should I check the deck height??
3.am I missing anything??

4.also what should I look for on the crank??

I'm not sure if it will be sleeved or not, thats still to be decided

I just don't wanna get screwed

you can check the deck height, unless you have a precision machined straight edge, check for cracks in the sleeves, check and see if you see anything scarring on the crank and bearings

Make sure you get the main caps for the block if you do decide to buy it. Also I don't know how you can check this but, try to see if any of threads are stripped for the main cap and head studs.
