help! my civic wont start!

Default help! my civic wont start!

i drove my car to a carshow last week and it has been sitting for about a week in my garage and i went out to start it and nothing happend... "ok its the battery". so i hook up jumper cables and stuff and i know it has enough electricty becuse the hazzard lights work perfect but when the key is in the ignition there is no cluster lights, no headlights, no interior lights. im stumped. please help me! and i KNOW the battery works and it has electricty. thanks!

oh yea its a 92 cx with a d16y8 in it

Did you accidentially cross the jumper cables or momentarily hook them up backwards on your battery? Check the fuse box under the hood on the passenger side and see if you blew the main fuse in there. Examine all of them.

Check the main fuses under the hood .

i checked all the main fuses on the passenger side and even switched a couple around (of the same rating of course) to see if i could get any differnce. but nothing.

check the ones in your interior near your left leg. if that doesnt work im thinking you ingition switch went bad or somthing, i dont know how to fix it but im sure someone does

they are tight, it has plenty of electricity.. the hazard lights blink really bright like they should. its like everything else is on a differnt circut or something.. i read stuff about a main relay but i dont know if thats what it is or how to test it either so...

oh to the post under me.. im a trial user so it wont let me post anymore today but nothing works... only the hazards.

so can you turn your headlights on? what about windshield wipers? rear defrost? radio? when the key is turned forward.

just because your hazard lights work doesnt mean your car has good battery. i accidently left my headlights on for bout 45 minutes infront of wendy and the battery died on me. the car wouldnt start, but the radio workd, lights workd, just bout every electricity worked except it wouldnt start. so maybe you should try to jump again.

i have tried jumping again and still.. nothing. any other ideas? i friend is coming over later with a multimeter thing so we will be checking fuses and stuff. anything i should check for? is there some sort of main relay that everything is on except the hazzard lights? any ideas are welcome.. i need to get this thing running!

check ALL the wires.... in the fuse box, running to the starter...

try depressing the clutch . Check all the fuses and the main relay. Also check to see if you have spark and fuel getting to the chamber.
