I just put a system in my car wit a friends help, but i got 6 1/2's for my front that we didn't put in to not mess up anything. when we did it to my brothers car we bent a bar and now the door handle doesn't close. But i think that i can get it done it seems simple enough. But i would feel a lot more comfortable if someone could post me a site for step by step instructions. Thanx.

ummm basically just take all the screws out. take the inside door handle and pull it out. the bar will be connections....lightly pull it towards you (not bending the bar) and push it up out of its little hole thing. let it fall back into the door. pull the door off and presto! make sure you unplug all the harnesses that go to the lights, door locks, and window crap. if you didn't get shallow mount speakers you will need to make a spacer type deal, or else you won't be able to let your window all the way down, etc..

a cheap fix for this is the take the stock tray thing that the stock speakers set in (its black and behind the speakers) and modify it. the thick ring where the black tray mounts to the door (the part that you took the screws out of) is what you want to keep...cut the middle crap out. screw the speaker to that (not using the mounting holes that mount to the door) and then mount it to the door...will give you enough space so you dont hit the window and you can put the cover on blah blah blah. ive been running it ghetto like that for a year
