Default dohc zc Timing belt..........help

My zc was off time a little so i loosend the belt and slipped it off the cam gears and lined them up right. then slipped the belt back on the can gears and tightend it back up. but when the motor is at tdc the belt has some play in it. should it be like that?

no no no!! not to loosen. just enough tension like your alternator belt. too tight can damage the belt. too loose can slip. hope that helps
