Installing JDM Header....Almost Done
Hi-
After too many damn long hours, and pain and cuts, etc, I finally got my OEM header and cat disconnected from the damn car. I've disconnect both O2 sensors and all I have to do now is bolt on the aftermarket accessories! Now I just have a question, I tried earlier today to put my JDM Header back up to the head, but room is very very snug. What's the easiest way to approach it?
Thanks!
(Sorry for the double post, just want to get this finished with...
)

First you have to loosen (maybe not remove) the support bracket from the block (2 x 14mm)
Install from underneath the car. If you have A/C it's a little more difficult, but not impossible. You have to manuever it in so it doesn't get caught on the slave cylinder bleed screw. When you are lifting it into place, try rotating the passenger primary up past the bleed screw, then push the header up and turn into place.
Rest the header on the studs, and make sure you have the support bracket in place on the header bracket, and tigthen the bracket back down on the block.
Finger-tighten all the stud caps and bolts on the exhaust ports. Bolt up flex joint, don't forget your 2.5" donut gasket. Tighten the bracket to the header, and then torque the head bolts to spec. Recheck all bolts in a few hundred miles.
