Default new 2004 accord air filter

hi all, i have a month old 2004 accord lx 2.4l sedan, and was wondering if there would be any point in me getting a K&N air filter at this point. i only have about 650 miles so far. i've heard that it gives a louder noise and a little more pickup on the high-end, is this true? or this early would i just be wasting $?

The K&N drop in isn't worth the money.

The only gain from a K&N drop-in filter is the fact that they are reusable. Drop a few more bucks, and get a decent Cold Air Intake (AEM/DC/etc...).

the K&N isn't going to do much, unless you dremel out a lot of the baffles in the airbox as well. Are you in MD?
