Ok so this weekend i install my autometer tach because my stock tach was really off and i find out that the stock tach was 800rpm lower than what it is (when using my timing gun its got a rpm meter on there too and thats where i get my suspision), but thats not the funny part. from a stop ill rev it out in each gear and it will tach out at 7400 rpm but on the freeway when im rollin and i downshift and rev out it will tach only to 6900rpm have any of you ran into this similar thing?

 

Yeah, my PG7(DOHCZC Ecu) redlines 1st/2nd at 7100rpms on my stock tach which is almost dead on. But 3rd/4th/possibly 5th all redline at 7750rpms. Happens to be quite popular since this is the 8th thread I've seen on it in the last 2 months. - Darrell
