My CRX (56k = death)
Heres some pics I took today. Ive had this car for about 2 months. Its half paid off which is why I havent really fixed anything yet. Im waiting to pay it off. The only thing I did was take the 13 inch steelies off and put on a set of Civic Si wheels. Body work, suspension and motor to follow over the winter if all goes well. The racerx sticker was on it when I bought it and has since been removed.

wow..thats a lot of pics.
i must say though, the paint looks really nice. haha i was wondering why you took so many pics of the passenger side til i saw the drivers side. but at least it aint that bad.
what are your plans with it? how much did you pay for it?

Im a picture *****. I take pics of everything.
The paint is a maaco job but looks like a rattle can to me. If you look at some of the pics you can see Im missing the drivers side corner light. I photoshopped it into some pf the pics just to see what its sposed to look like. The kid wrecked it right before I bought it so its got some damage.
Paying $900 for it. It has a zc and zc tranny and it runs great. The car overall isnt that bad. No rust, no oil leaks, just some maintanence issues really besides the body damage. The wheel bearings, brakes and entire suspension are shot. A few of the interior piece are either broken or missing. The inside is red and the outside is black. Overall nothing major though.
Plans.... Im still undecided honestly. This is my first project car. Ive always raced crotch rockets and four wheelers so this is a new world to me. I really want to get into auto-x though. Ill prolly just do a really nice suspension as Im a firm believer in it. Fix the outside so its at least presentable, paint the entire car and possibly do a swap. Thats where Im running into my indecisiveness. Being new to this I can only go by what I read on the forums and it seems that every motor and setup is highly debated around here and other forums. But then again thats only if things go right. With my luck, the car will stay like this for a year. blah

yeah. This was before I put the air filter on. Im sorry I just couldnt live with that damn weapon r crap on there. It looked hideous to me. I didnt do anything to it, just rerouted some cables and lines and wiped it off really.

Thats kinda what I was thinking. Ive been trying to find out how to best build a ZC or if I should just go with one of the more popular swaps later down the road.

Not that I feel it is any of your business. Im 23. You read that right, still paying off the $900. Why? Well I moved to Charlotte and that took my savings account out. So I had no money. I didnt plan to buy a car soo soon, it just kinda fell in my lap so I grabbed it. I knew most crx's around here have rust and or no motor and if they do they go for alot more then $900.
Would you like a run down of the bills I pay and how much? Perhaps you can budget my money a little better for me then. I dont have a job so that might make it a little hard for you.
Some of us made alot of poor decisions in life and dont have a great job that pays well or a nice big savings account. If you want more details, Ill be glad to tell you how my wife and I pissed away $80K in 9 months and have nothing to show for it.
