Nice finds in a junk yard parts car
About a week ago me and a buddy decided to head down to the local VW/AUDI/HONDA Wrecking yard...Previously they had a 91 CRX DX...but this time they had an 88 SI...weird part is except for the fact that it was sitting on the ground with no wheels or stands. it was fine way too nice to be sitting a yard. crumpled fender thats all. The yard had already snagged the seats,(sold them for $300+ and the guy was really happy about the deal) wheels, tranny, and engine. The body and interior was complete AND perfect.
picked the whole car up for a decent price.
inside we find:
-OEM arm rest in perfect condition
-orginal Black floor mats in damn decent shape
-factory foglights totally complete and in perfect shape
-hatch covers in perfect shape
well after we swap all the good stuff to our cars...it will be back on the road...so guess we saved one from death. Every time I find a CRX in the yard its totally rapped and even thats hard.
guess im just a little pumped about finding one like this. Its one of the nicest CRX's i've seen period. sorry for wasting your time. continue to read post about people asking what Battery is best for a crx.

got the car for $600+ already got a buyer when we are done having our way with it. selling for $1000

damn thats awesome, i can hardly stand going through the yards out here. All the CRXs are the victims of a teenagers "need for speed" A.K.A they are smashed to bits.
I try and stay away. But there was a time i found a 91 Si with an "ok" interior a perfect body and the engine had like 85K on it. But from what they were saying they couldn't sell the body because the VINs didn't match exact
