Default Clutch Issues - Need Advice

HI ALL,

I have a 2000 Civic EX 5-Speed, properly maintained, and have only been using Mobil 1 10w 30 synth oil, I try to bleed the clutch and brakes every 4-6 months, and just use the car as an everyday driver. No problems, car runs and drivers great.

We had a sever Rain storm one day here in FL, and leaving the industrial park I work in, the exit was flooded with water. I took the route that had the lowest lying water. I drove and then put my car in neutral and coasted through the water, and after I made it through the 15 foot puddle area, I put my car in 1st gear I got this huge vibration from the front end of the car, and the car barely moved after dis-engaging the clutch, the engine did not stale however. Then I had this issue the next turn in 1st gear, like the clutch wasn't grabbing, and then everything seemed to be ok on the way home.

It has since been about a month 1/2 that this happened.

However when I drive now, I get all these noises when I engage and disengage the clutch in 1st gear to get the car going, and it seems I need to drop the clutch around 2000-2500 rpms to get the car moving without all the weird noises.

Once warmed up though the car seems fine, and drives fine on the highway.

The car has 65,000 miles on it, and I just change the oil. I think a clutch/flywheel need to be replaced.

Any help is appreciated.
