Default Low ground clearence

I have a 89civic dx. My problem is clearence. I can not drive over speed bumps without dragging bottem.

Is there anyway to raise this car three or four inches?

As old as it is it's worth fixing.

Thanks

What has been done to the suspension? A higher profile tire might help...

whats your set up. stock springs should be fine unless you got a b series swap and the weight of the motor will bring the front of the car down. but four inches dude thats a big raise. baja style man.

It's stock.

No modifications.

Are there any rubber bushings or spacers that can give me a few inches more clearence?

I've heard that integra springs will get you a little higher.

wow...first time ive heard of somone trying to raise there civic past an oem hieght.
They sell those rubber spacers at autozone that you jam between the coils they raise the car a little bit. to get 3 to 4 inches you might have to buy a Fabtech lift kit or something

How fast as you going over the bumps? My apartment building has the largest speedbumps i've ever gone over, and i can make it over them fine without scraping (with tucked 16 inchers).
