Moving on ... without #00-1160 (Pics - 56K should be ok)
If all goes well tomorrow, I will no longer be the owner of #00-1160. I think my time has come to finally move on to something else. Having a car that I have to constantly worry about is something that has finally grown way too old. Buying a beater isn't really an option for me since I live in NYC and parking space is pretty much a premium (like everything else). Hopefully, #00-1160 will end up in a garage that's an ITR enthusiast.
Within a span of 4 years, my car went from stock to not-so-stock. It was a bitch and a half to get it back to stock but with the help of R-Speed members, it was all done in a day.
to the part "vultures" and many thanks for dealing with me during my possible breakdown. Figuring out logisitics/time frames was a bitch and a half.
Like I mentioned before, a round of drinks are on me for all the vultures who were in attendance yesterday.
Since everyone likes pictures here, I'm posting a couple of what my car used to look like before I decided to finally get a different car. Enjoy!
And before anyone asks, there aren't any aftermarket parts for sale.
Fujitsubo/SSR goodness

Sp00m/Recaro

Interior shot - BlueR left that damned Mountain Dew can in there ...

Stickers rule!

Engine bay shot

Egads ... back to stock

Will I miss her? Probably not since the pros were outweighed by the cons of owning this car. Will I forget her? Nope. The car does have sentimental value and, if anything, I got to meet great people thanks to this car. I got to finally experience an Expo. I was turned into a track ***** because of this car.
to all the ITR owners who will continue enjoying this car. I'll still be on these forums living vicariously through everyone here. And maybe even try to sneak on to a future Expo or two.

Kyle, sorry to see you out of an R, but hopefully your next ride (what is it already, you still haven't said
) will make you happy. Maybe it'll be easier to roll your *** at Summit or VIR with the new bling

sorry to see you have to make this decision.....i know how it feel cuz i made the same one 8 months ago
I'm sure you will have a total different joy of being an owner of a car and "DRIVE" it in the city when you buy another car. I know I do and I love that now, ppl living in big city like NY should understand what I'm saying......ITR is a pita to own when u dont have a beater, I said "enough is enough" to myself when I made up my mind and once again, I love to drive and park after 3.5 yrs with the Arr
good luck Kyle
