Street Class MR2, shakedowns! Over 600 whp with more left in it! Will run some very nice times next year!! Look for the 9's out of this thing!!

Serge Lisboa's Civic HB (hot rod class) Last weekend ran a 8.82@173 mph he was out to better his time as MPH was insane!! at about the 200 feet out in second gear, something let go in the front suspension causing the car to violantly loos control and spin. Luckly Serge did an awesome job of keeping it off the wall and from flipping it over. Damage is superfical and most of all he was not injured and was just shaken up.

Wow, looks like a broken axle that took out the rest of the suspension! for an excellent save and driving skills! I woulda shiet my pants on that one as I watch my left front slick fly off... LOL!

Yeah, we are quite happy. The car was running great all day ran nothing other than 10s. two 10.9s, two 10.8s and two 10.7s!

First Canadian all-motor in the 10s, and this was with a 24.5 slick on a 15" rim. Not even on a 13" weld.

Ya his was was running strong!!! nice to see a show car go!!

Also E30 was running 12.40's taking it easy out of the hole, now that is moving! First time out with the car too!

 

are they using stock lower control arms? thats happened to alot of people using stock lowew control arms. they twist then break

 

happenned during some wheel hop in second gear. So the force on the suspension parts must have been nuts!

 

wow...congrats to etd for running in the 10's first...i knew they would do it this year. Glad to hear that serge wasn't hurt in that accident...that's crazy!!!
