Default BRAND NEW ITR HEAD GOOD ENOUGH???

I currently have a complete JDM ITR head on my b17 but just bought a BRAND NEW COMPLETE USDM ITR head that i will be using. I want to go with come Skunk 2 Stage 2's with my 11.5 compression but is the factory ITR valvetrain enough to handle these cams or should I upgrade? If I should upgrade, what do you recommend? Thanks guys!

you need springs at least. I think itr retainers are good till 9500, but I'd get the skunk2's while your at it. You'll probably want to think about bigger injectors and some kind of tunable ecu such as hondata, uberdata, or at least a vfac. Good luck, do some research on those cams, or any cam you plan on runnning to make sure you know what your getting into.
