It really depends on what you want out of your suspention I don’t recommend Tokicos. I’ve heard only good things about the omnipowers. But if you can afford to buy some teins I highly recommend them.

honestly, i think my stock shocks were smoother even tho one was bent. i have it set on 3/4. *shrugs*. my car is just a daily driver, no racing or track, so its ok. it might also be because of my springs tho, iOno.
i believe richard tran (zoink) just got some omnipower or i tihnk hes going too, ive heard good things abotu omnipower. but the TEIN basic....ive never heard anything about those. anyone wanna input on that?

my cousin has a 2k1 civic with 18" rims vs. my 99 gsr with stock swirlies + h&r sport + kyb agx... his tein basic are very good... they ride nice and tight. not sluggish like my h&r + kyb... i have 205/50/15 nt450 + type r sway + some strut bars... not too race friendly
Well it really maters what your looking for. A smooth ride/stiff ride. I know the omni powers are a stiff race setup. My friend has them on his race/daily driver. I have Tein SS on my race/daily driver and I love them. If I put them at full soft they ride smooth but not as smooth as stock. When I set them at hard its like im on rails.

I have to agree, we are running the street 10k/8k.
Very streetable suspension, and the struts handle the spring rates superbly.

</TD></TR></TABLE> What do you mean a fraction of the price of teins? maybe 90% of tein basics I guess. I'd rather pay 250 more and have full damping adjustability of the SS.

i've read many users complaining about the quality of the tein basics, if you're going to spend that money invest in the omni's, otherwise spend a little more money and get the SS's.
