Default CRX Aluminum Dash

Who makes these? I want one and dont have the tools or know how on how to make one. I seen one in a crx over the weekend but the owner wasnt around to ask where he got it. Ive searched HT and googled it but couldnt find any.

Someone there told me he bought it he just couldnt remember the company that made it. Im not worried about the weight I have a full interior and it wont be stripped. My dash is falling apart and I liked how it looked.

I dont want the center console to connect to it and I definately dont like that one at all. The one I seen was only down as far as the stock crx with no contours, paint or vents.

The car in the pic is not the subject of the thread, merely an example of it. Stop flaming the flippin pic and add to the topic.. I've made 2 in my life, both for EG hatchs', both DXs. I used sheet aluminum to cover the old radio and HVAC spots. We just cut what the guy wanted out, then used those aluminum rivets and a rivet gun to pop it onto the plastic. Gave the car a clean look since it was a drag car. In a DD I think it would look out of place. - Darrell

May be an alternative.

Yeah I looked at those. I dont know how strong it would be when it came to taking abuse though. I also dont want to sink that much work into the dash. Id rather just junk the stocker and throw in a flat dash painted black.

It wasnt on their website when I looked.. I just called them up and they told me the price.. Somewhere here on HT there is a in-car pic that someone took of their dash from them..

I didnt buy the car to suit you. When I decide to do that Ill let you know. Until then do the world a favor and slit your wrists.

That would be fine IF I had asked for an opinion on what people thought about the idea. Plain and simple, I didnt so he had nothing to add. Hell I might have even overlooked it like the comment earlier that was deleted; that said the same thing minus the "ill laugh at you" comment.

I dont know why people think their opinions matter, cause honestly, they dont. Dont flame me and I wont flame you, bottom line.

its no big deal just brush it off. as the great poet and scholar Jay-Z said, you gotta get that dirt-off-your-shoulders. besides a forum without opinions would be boring as ****. it would just be a bunch of people asking eachother about tolerances and r/s ratios and noises and **** and not being people. seriously though are you gonna rock that aluminum dash with a full interior?
