Lately my horn goes out off and on- several times during a usual ride. Can't figure out any rhyme or reason or pattern. Also, the brake light thats in the rear window is out. Its not the bulb. I've been procrastinating but inspection is this month. Any help?

 

maybe im being dense, but does the horn randomly go off and on, or does it just randomly not work....if so i would check for loose connections...grounds of that sort. as for the brake light....same thing....*i* personally dont know exactly how it works in the whole system (ie: any switches or the sorts it may have to go through).
