Default ODB0 ECU With an OBD1 Dizzy, Will It Work???????

what the titles says, has any1 done it

and this is my prob:

basically 89 dx, had an integra zc so i converted to MPFI, wit pg7 ecu

blew the zc

bought my boys d16z6 off his 94 ex. just motor, using my stock dx tranny and 92-95 clutch and flywheel. temporarily using the pm6 civic si ecu and MSD RPM window switch for the vtec (which we havent hooked up yet)

dropped in motor. everything is back together except for the radiator is still off. for the dizzy, we used the stock d16z6 dizzy which i know is obd1, but he wired to work with my harness, which he has done before with his crx si. for fuel injectors they are either si injectors or teg injectors not sure but i think they are obd1

started the car, but wouldnt completely start, kept acting like it wanted to.

not sure if it the MPFI wiring, injector problem, fuel issue, possibly spark plugs

ecu is throwing a code 8

any ideas ????

tommorrow i am buying new spark plugs and goin to the junk yard and snatchin so injectors off a 90-93 teg

I have no idea what this means except that this the reason it wont work.

the sensors in a OBD0 are 16 step or the ecu is expecting 16 pulses or somthing.

the sensors in OBD1 & OBD2 are 24 step or the ecu is expexting 24 pulses.

so if u put a OBD1 on a OBD0 it will say that the cam saft is spinning to fast and to prevent engine damage it wont start.

No. The signals are different.
Do a search. There's a way to identify obd 0 and obd 1 injectors using an ohmmeter.
