Default S1 rebuild

I know someone out there has to have tackled a S1 or a J1 rebuild. I can't even get my tranny into 3rd anymore. Do any of the parts change up with USDM parts or am I completly waisting my time. I work at an Acura dealership, so I can get just about whatever I need, if I have a part number.

I'd prefer to use OE parts to be honest. I can get them fairly cheap.

Unless otherwise requested we use nothing BUT, OEM parts in our rebuilds whether they are factory spec or racing units. The only exceptions would be the differentials and spools that are made from others like circuitworx or Quaife etc. Thanx Reid for your comments.

Now how is that constructive? The man works at an Acura dealership so he probably deosn't have to worry about aquiring the parts, it is just the part numbers he needs.

Kangarod, are you located North of the border?

as a matter of fact I am. Need some airbag covers?
I could use a few carbon fiber dc2 interior pieces.

I have heard that from several people now. There must be some truth to that. Does anyone have any solid information?
