I started new project and I have to sell my car to fund it. Its a 90 CRX dx, JDM H22a - 45K, It has a Y1 LSD B series tranny on the motor. I made a adapter plate to make a B series tranny fit on a H series block. The car is still using HCP B series mounts. There is a custom front crossmember. The car is red, has Rota Slips. BRAND NEW tires, less then 150 miles on them. The motor is overall stock, it pulls pretty dam hard. It ran a 8.4 on some BFG radials in the 1/8, it was spinning 1st and 2nd. I know it could run a lot better with some slicks. Im seeing what I can get for it. If I dont get anything worth while selling it for then I will just pull the motor and use this as my shell. Im taking any offers on the car, but please remember there is a lot of time and money into this car. If anyone has any questions let me know I will answer them all.. Im going to have a video of the car sometime next week up.

It's always tough to put a price on a project car...I guess PERSONALLY I would probably pay 6-7 for it???

 

I would figure to try and squeeze 4500 out of it, but not many will pay more.. Although there are exceptions to every rule...

 

that a one sweet CR-X I wouldnt sell it, if I were you

I've seen dirtay *** CRX's with b16's go for 4k. I don't think 6k would be out of the question AT ALL for this car.

bump for a pretty unique setup and relativley stock looking exterior.

can you estimate what that 1/4 would have been given that 1/8 time? im just curious.

i wish i was less poor, i dont even have half what your asking... want a 90crxdx with a b16a1 swap y1 lsd painted si electron blue and cash to make up the difference?

im jk i know you need the cash. ive seen ricey looking b series hatches go on ebay for around 4...

From the 1/8 mile time, it should be around 12.4 -12.6

My last setup ran 8.8 in the 1/8 and it was 12.7 in the 1/4

The ground clearance is really not that bad.... It is just a shadow from the oil pan.. The car sits about 3 to 3 1/2 inchs from the ground with 2 inch lowering springs...

Thats an amazing car!

Id say roughly 6-7K with the right buyer.

I paid 6k (cnd) for a 88 crx si, with mint interior, mint exterior. A b18c block, CTR head. 30K on rebuild. J1 trans. New tires, brakes, gas tank.. Etc.

So id say 6-7K (us) is not out of the question. You may have to ship though!

 

I will ship the car if the buyer will pay for it....

 

DAMN man if i could get a loan i'd give you $5000 right now as we speak.

i'm gonna see what i can get...hoefully ** crosses fingers** i can get someone to co-sign for me but it doesn't look too good for that plan
