Because of it. Stole all of my paper work to register it & its a salvage so you know how much more involved it is. Well back to the problem the window does NOt go out of track, but gets diverted by the weather stripping inbetween the drivers side mirror and the frame. So it leaves a 5 inch gap open at the top. I prolly need to pull the panels to fix it. How hard is this? Any posts with a qiagram or instrutions? Went to get a chilton but sold out...

Theres a bolt on the lower left hand corner of the door, it holds the track. unbolt it have the window down and then force it away from the window toards the front and try to get the glass to catch the channel. Then with the window still down and in place put some tension from the track towards the window so its tight and cant pop back off then tightn the bolt back down and you should be set. Since you have the door panel off put some wd40 in the channels then roll up the window and put in in the back side channels in the door. Roll up and down a few times to make sure its going smooth, wipe the extra spray off and you should be good and then I would roll drivers side down and spray it also and spray it down in the door so you dont have to take the panel off.
