Default If i get new pistons???

If i get new pistons (JE 10.5:1) will i be increasing horsepower over the stock pistons on a 94 integra rs (non-vtec, b18b). Isnt the cr on the stock pistons 9.2:1. So if i get these 10.5:1 cr pistons, i will see power difference, right??? Is there anything i need to watch out for if i raise my cr on my pistons????

10.5 is pretty damn safe, nothing to worry about there. you will notice alot more torque

I would say 12.0 or so would be safe also rembember that this is static CR and when the engine is running cam tuning also affects CR if you have overlap dialed in like most honda's it lowers CR and also think about highest grade octane avail. in your area.

So lets say JE makes a piston with a cr of like 11.5:1??? Do you think this would be safe??? Would i see that much of a difference between 11.5:1 and 10.5:1??? Is it worth it??? Thanks.

if everything is done right it'll be worth it. just break in the rings right.
and consider in investing in some cams. cams love the higher compression.
after that an intake manifold and bigger throttlebody.
11's are safe
after 12's you'll need to add octane boost to your gas after that
or you'll hear ticking and detonation

b18b1 - 9.2
b18c1 - 10.0
b18c5 - 10.6

11.5 you can run, if you can get premium gas all the time. and for every point that you raise the cr, you gain 3-4% hp across the board. (general rule)
