Default RSR Exhaust

I'm thinking about buying a rsr exhaust. Anyone have this? How do you like it? I was thinking about buying it from here. http://www.modacar.com/product...DACAB/ $499, is that a good price?

I just ordered it on friday. I have a few clips of it from other integra's on my computer. If you would like to hear them AIM: kevin85193
and it's $500 on that site. I can hook you for little bit cheaper :0

I read somewhere that it was a power robber? Also how are the RsR 4-2-1 headers? When I get the exhaust I'm going to get header to. Which do you guys prefer?

This exhaust is what i want. Its true the RSR EXMAG will make less horsepower than a straight through exhaust, but still leaves much to be desired.

Low sound
Stealth look
Adds a little power

Great for the daily driver IMO.

EDIT - Good price too.

just a word of shopping advice, watch out for modacar- they have a great selection and prices seem reasonable, but their shipping prices are awful. check out some h-t sponsors, most offer free shipping for the same price. prostreetonline comes to mind, although i know there are a few more...

Thanks for the advice. I was looking at buying it from http://www.turboimport.com/index.htm, it's like $479 shipped. Has anyone ever delt with them?

i was actually going to buy from them before i found a deal in the classifieds. i found a few people who bought exhausts from them and had no problems. they do have amazing prices and customer service is pretty helpful- so they seem legit. if you decide to go with them, let us know how they were, i may buy from them in the future.

Heres my dyno numbers with that exhaust

And heres my setup:

-B18C1 motor
-Stock head w/ 3 degree valve job by Alaniz
-USDM ITR pistons
-BC Spec 3+ cams
-Spoon cam gears
-AEM CAI
-Greddy 4-2-1 headers
-2.50" cat
-RSR ExMag exhaust system
-Hondata S100

My tuner said I would have hit 200whp if I had a straight pipe cat and diff. exhaust system But thats fine with me cuz I hate driving with a loud exhaust I really love this exhaust and im sure you would too

Haha I'm so used to saying that. Here "header" you happy? Also if I wanted to go with best peformance what exhaust and header would you guys suggest? This is my daily driver btw. I love the quietness of the RsR exhaust, so I'm kinda leaning towards gettin it.

Ive got the Exmag on my gsr, see my build in my sig if u want.

I dynoed with it and made 162.8hp@7600rpm... then we unbolted the exhaust at the high flow cat and it made 163.1hp at about the same rpm. It was almost an identical powerband above 6k... and it was WAY TOO LOUD compared to the very quiet RSR.

It helped with 2 or 3 more hp in the midrange while unbolted, but it wasnt worth the noise of straight through...

I give the RSR

BTW, it was about 2.4" when i measured it at the flange, but peering into the mufflers baffles looks like it might constrict down to about 2.2" in some places.
