arp headstuds ( i didn't do this the first time and the head lifted and craked a
sleeve hopefully this will prevent it from happening again)
ys1 tranny(from b17a)
chipped pr3 ecu
cheap short ram intake
well here are some of my questions.
what diamater exausght should i get? I was thinking because i don't have a lot of cash i was just going to get 2.5" crushed bend with either a flowmaster or something similar muffler. does anyone know how these perform or sound?
what type of header would work best for the cheapest? i probably want to buy used.
how much help will chipping my ecu be?
do you have to relocate battery to go cold air?
I am hopeing to run between a 14 and 15 second 1/4 mile ( i am in utah 4800 elavation)
What should i set my vtec crossover at? i am not going to rev above 8000.
i had my car running for about a week and then the head lifted and craked the sleeve. it goes to show that you need to invest some cash and buy the arp headstuds. i tried to do it the cheap route because i wasn't working at the time. the engine light was always on because of the no knock sensor, but now i am getting the ecu chipped to avoid that. my car is going to be a daily driver. i just want to have it run and be kinda quick. thanks for any advice you can give me.
