spark plugs swimming and coverd in oil??? huh????
went to change my spark plugs in my car. just recently did a c5 swap into it. took the boots out and all 4 spark plug holes are filled with oil! ?? has anyone ever heard or seen this before if so, why did it happen ? please respond back asap if possible
Take your valve cover off and make sure you have the little round seals installed on your valve cover where the spark plugs go though the valve cover......This exact thing happened to me awhile back.....
Hmm is it easy to change the valve seals? Mine is burning oil whenever I floor the throttle and losing compression bad..
Does having bad valve seals cause a whole lot of compression lost?
Yea burning oil could also be your piston rings seal which would mean bigger trouble, take out the whole engine and replacing piston rings/seal at a machine shop would cost u a ton unless u change it yourself

ya make sure your O ring seals are installed, and make sure you tighten up the valve cover so the gasket gets pressed down. at least u dont have oil in your cylinder, like what i had before..

Yeah check the simple stuff first. DOnt alway assume the worst. Mine did the same thing after I installed turbo. I was thinking all kinds of things and having to spend alot of money.....I ended up spending less than 10 bucks to fix it. I bought new valve cover grommets and put them on wrong....
If you are sure they are on right and are sealing, THEN check for other things.

hondabond is expensive as hell tho.
I personally know that hasport when they do anything, they seal it (if required) with hondabond and not rvt.
