Okay, seriously. It's a good first effort. Maybe I can offer you some help.

For the style, I know what you were shooting for. It's too advanced to do cut bends on your first shot. You should order mandrel bends to cover most of the angulation on your piece. It will look a lot cleaner. Plus it looks like a couple of your angles negate eachother.

For the welding, more heat, slower wire feed. There's not much penetration and a lot of globbing of the wire. You want much less feed. I don't know what machine you're using though. Maybe you can tell us.

Those are my recommendations. If I were you I'd do it again and try less feed. The angles create a lot of turbulence which you don't want on an NA (or any) car so smooth bends are your friend, that and the fewest possible.

The most angle you can smoothly cut is about 7 degrees before you get a fisheye effect on the tubing and it doesn't mate without filling a lot of the joint.

props for trying, but what is it exactly supposed to do?

looks like you just went wild welding stuff and added a sensor and a coupler to make it do something....

First of all there are no pre made bends that are tight enough to fit where my turbo is mounted... is may look like **** to you but well that's you. I dont have a tig welder, all I have is a very old 1980's Lincoln 220v MIG. I know I am not a good welder but I have seen people do it way worse than what I have...

and for sirex who said what does it do?? well stupid if you could actually read the title of the post it is a turbo intake ... and it does actually work.. i noticed faster spool up and more top end power even if top end power actually exists on a dsm t25... you can all hate on me and my welding but its the only thing that would fit for an intake for my turbo..

Thanks for the tips on the welding about the slower wire speed and more heat, ill use that on my next project...

Welding does not just come to you it takes practice... I for sure need more practice.. So why bust my *****? Not like im selling this.. Not like anyone sees under my hood anyway..

For all the haters

I dont think it's a piece of crap. I'd use it. As long as it works, it doesn't need to be bling bling to impress all the bitches.

Well honestly, it's uglier than all hell, but probably makes more power than just slapping a piece of patio door screening on the turbo inlet..

Maybe cover it with some heatwrap to hide the ugliness....
