No it doesn't. The civic bumper is wider, so the rex one won't fit. You could always try to take 2 rex bumpers and stick them together, but is it worth the trouble?

a CRX front end does fit on a civic. gotta change the fenders, hood, bumper. but notice the side of the CRX has a kind of a molding so cover it or some ****. also a whole CRX interior fits onto a civic hatch. center console, dash, door panels. no pictures but a friend of mine just did it a few days ago.

yeah i love the 88-89 crx front end
(amber bumper lights)

you'll need the bumper, fenders and corner lights (i think thats it ?? anyone?)
but yeah like someone said you need to modify the fenders

actually you need to take the crx fender and cut it off at/under the moulding and then do the same with your stock fenders and then get the top portion of the crx fender attached to the bottom portion of the civic fender.. follow me? hope that helps

With a little work, sure...I have seen it done, on a 91 Si HB w/ ZC hood, painted Del Sol green, actually looked pretty good.

The fenders are completely different. The reason I think it would make a good swap would be to get rid of that stupid head light trim...It will not work without some crafty fabrication. The a-pillar side of the fenders are completely different. you need the front part of the rex fenders to mate with the bumper and corner lights...It wont work by simply bolting the parts up but I think everything could be adapted to fit. Oh and I think the bumpers are pretty close to the same width.
