motor build
So i have a b16. For best results i'm thinking about buying a b20 shortblock, and having it sleeved. If money becomes short i can just put it on with stock pistons/rods (to my head) and run that with low comp? Does that seem like a good starting point? Next i can punch out the cylinders a bit and put some high comp pistons in, still on the stock head... then do the valvetrain? Any input would be hugely benificial. THanks guys.
A bit confused about your post. b20 bore is 85mm, so you would not be able to use b16a pistons/rods (81mm). Unless you meant to save money you will not sleeve. I would recommend going with the higher compression pistons from the beginning instead of sleeving. Even though from what I've read the stock b20 sleeves are pretty weak.

Sleeving a b20 is not necesarry. You can just get a b18a/B block if you are sleeving it anyways.
Your initial post is confusing. do some more search on a proper build up.
