I'm in a bit of a bind. i've had an h22a in my pc for a while. but auto. decided to go manual. but cannot locate the speed sensors... any one know where they are. its OBD1. there is a plug on the top that has two wires grn/blk and yellow. i believe these are reverse sensor.

the speed sensor is in the back of the tranny, near the shift arm. its had a 3 pin connector. and it is also possible that whoever you bought it from too the VSS out? then you would just have a round hole, about 1" diameter there.

 

You can use the one from your stock transmission too. You are correct about the reverse sensor. One should have a male connector and one should have a female conntector.

 

Okay, got it. i was getting it confused with the sensors on the outer sides of the auto transmission. cool thx. Also.

the hoses that come out under the speed sensor on the tranny... those go to the transmission cooler the same as the auto? sorry. i've searched my **** off but most articals are short on details. its also hard to find a good wiring guide.
