Default front mount CAI

just went to the drag strip and saw a GSR with a front mount CAI. anyone know anything about these or who make and if they make one for CRX's.

umm aero speed makes them there corny imo really dont think that it matters enough that it would help any more then a normal intake.

Its just for show...
Its not real ram air...
They have no dyno graphs..
Air pressure drops with these systems..
It seems like a good idea...Its just not constructed the right way..
And its way overpriced... Just my opinion though...

if you buy one you might want to put a wiper blade on it and get one of those air by-pass valves...

those things are a joke. you'll probably end up with - 4 H.P. and -6 ft/lb torque.

While you're shopping for "performace" parts, go ahead and pick up a park bench spoiler and some huge gawdy decals. And since you'll be poking around in the garage, go ahead and do a uni-wiper conversion as well.

+15hp easy

its really not worth it. i seen a thread one time where someone asked about putting a intercooler setup on the n/a car so the air would be colder. the only problem with that is that the engine would have to try to pull so much air into the intake which in the end would not be worth it!
